Ubisoft announced today that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike, exclusively for Microsoft's Xbox video game system, has gone gold and will ship to retail August 2.

   I loved the original GhostRecon2 and this one looks pretty rad, but is it even worth $30. I know I know I probably sound like some cheap bastard. Summit strike is supposed to carry us over to advanced warfighter wright?... Wrong! I'm sorry but I don't think I will be playing this when BrothersInArms;Earned In Blood, FarCry;Instincts, or RaibowSix;Lockdown come out. Believe me I'm not saying this is'nt a good deal, it's just that it might not even last a good a month for some of us. If your a Recon Fiend then by all means go out and buy this, but if your tight on cash then you might want to save up for those three stellar Ubi titles I've listed.     

   You know what, forget about what I said earlier about Summit Strike. I guess purchasing the game would'nt hurt cosidering we all need to prepare for when advanced warfighter comes out....Sigh, I'm just going to miss some of Black Hawk Down's qualities.

Right on Tito! There are several of us that have picked up the game.

I think I might get it, its just a matter of Lockdown sucking or not because I have to choose between the two. Anyway disagree with it or not, I've seen a ton of reader reviews say lockdown changed for the worse.

I know this is pretty late in the game, but I've picked up a copy of this great shooter. If anybody wants to come to my games, then shoot me a friend request and I'll hook us up.

I as well, am going to get this game, in fact I'm trading in Lockdown for it tomorrow. Much more stable and just as good if not better gameplay with more than twice the maps and weapons. BOB. I assume your gamertag is BLS BOB, I'll add you.

Thanks a bunch. Just watch out for the great white disk error that occurs while playing the game. If you have problems with it, I'll tell you how to fix it.
