Some people use Disk Doctor, but, I have also heard it may scratch the disk even more.

Are you willing to risk the disk?

    Or, buy a new one...

Seriously though, Disc Dr.'s a piece of shit though...I tested it on a couple CD's...dead...waste of money...

Never heard of the deodorant trick...question though...Gel, or stick?

Hehe, just thought of this solution...

Trade in NFSU2 (or anything else you don't play anymore for that matter), buy the new copy of RTCW (No Depot = no sniping matches = no improvement of skills = no SfH), and buy Midnight Club 3 with whatever money you can scrounge...

Something I have tried once was the boiling water trick. I did it to a OXM disk and it worked. Place the disk in the boiling water for 2 - 5 seconds, pull out , dry off!

    Good Luck!

well.. i could trade in nfsu2.. and that shitty game halo2.. but there 17 each for trade in.. so it would be kinda hard to get a $50  game with only $34

Well i like to add in some spices to my home made Disk Doc.
I tend to add too much peper and cook it for Way to long.
but seriously i think the best thing to do is buy a new copy. Thats what i would do[:^)]

    Re: Disc help..

but that would cost at least $13.. and thats for a used copy.. i can think of better things to do with $13 than buy another copy of a game that i already own..
