Ok gentlemen I had recently seen some moderately-long in game footage. From what I've seen its a battle between the good and the bad, some of the stuff really impressed me some of it was kinda craptacular. Lets start with the good things 1. The bloom effect and normal mapping are put into great use with water, fire, sun, and smog effects as well as some nice character models. 2. The sound effects are so up close and clearly streamed that you'll feel like your in the some vast tropicle island. 3. The sniping and knifing bits look uber sweet, using the vehicles looks as cumbersome as eating a chocolate bar unless your allergic to dairy of course. Now the bad stuff. 1. While the graphics are all around good the textures can get pretty ugly if you look at a bush from far away then come closer you'd swear it was sushi (not litteraly of course but you get the point, OBJECTS ODDLY CHANGE SHAPE. 2. The enemy ai is severely dum in the first few levels, but eventually do some cool things later on when you meet the snipers, the special ops dudes, and the trydants. 3. While the game runs around an impressive 40fps it still pulls some long chaos theory pauses. All in all I'll still make this game my bitch.
